Žarko M. SAVIĆ
ŽARKO SAVIĆ, son of MILAN, born on September 17, 1921, in Baćevići near Mostar, farmer. He joined the the National Liberation Army and Partisan Detachments in early 1943 in the “Iskra” Battalion. He perished in January 1943 near Metković while crossing the Neretva River as part of a group of fighters from southern Herzegovina (50 young men and women from Čapljina and Dubrava villages) joining the 10th Herzegovina Brigade.
