Teofik A. PUZIĆ
TEOFIK PUZIĆ, known as TOFA or ŽACO, son of AHMED, born on May 17, 1915,* in Mostar, a tailor. Activist of the National Liberation War, a football player for FC “Velež”. Fighter, survived the Fifth Offensive (Battle of Sutjeska) and returned to Mostar with 80 other fighters for recovery. Arrested by the Germans during a raid for betraying a “demoralized fighter” and, after interrogation, shot in Ovojci near Mostar. On the same day, four fighters were executed: RADOJKA RACA IVANIŠEVIĆ-GNJATIĆ, worker, MEHMED HUSKOVIĆ, worker, SMAIL JUGO, worker, and MEHMED PALA, worker; from the city, 12 underground members: SALKO ČUKUR, worker, DŽEMAL DELIĆ, worker, HAMDIJA DIZDAREVIĆ, worker, ĆAMIL HADŽAJLĆ, PETAR JANJALIJA, student, IBRO KAZAZIĆ, worker, JUSUF MALKOČ, worker, ZAIM NIKŠIĆ, AVDIJA PAVLOVIĆ, worker, TEOFIK PUZIĆ, worker, HALID SADIKOVIĆ, worker, and ALIJA SALAHOVIĆ.
