Salem A. PINTUL
SALIH, SALEM PINTUL, son of ARIF, born on December 28, 1925, in Mostar. Gymnasium student. Joined the National Liberation War and Partisan Detachments in the summer of 1944, in the 13th Herzegovinian Brigade. Fighter. Killed in October 1944 in Kravica near Trebinje.
Salem’s name was recorded on the memorial plaque at Mostar Gymnasium after the war. The plaque disappeared without a trace during the events of the war from 1992 to 1995.
