Muhamed Š. KAZAZIĆ
MUHAMED KAZAZIĆ, son of ŠAĆIR, born in 1916 in Nevesinje. A baker, he lived and worked in Mostar. He worked illegally for the National Liberation Movement and was a candidate for membership in the Communist Party of Yugoslavia (KPJ). He was arrested by Ustaše agents in January 1942 in Mostar, “allegedly because of an illegal bulletin,” and handed over to the Italians. Together with other prisoners, he was taken to Šibenik in May 1942, where he was sentenced to five years in prison. He served his sentence in Parma, Italy, where he fell ill due to poor nutrition and was transferred to the Pianezza sanatorium, where he died after some time.
