Muhamed R. LJUBOVIĆ
MUHAMED LJUBOVIĆ, son of RUSTAN, born in 1912 in Mostar*, a butcher and a veteran fighter. He was an activist of the pre-war workers’ movement and joined the Battalion in late 1942. He survived the Fifth Offensive at Sutjeska and returned to Mostar with 80 other fighters for recovery. Afterward, he returned to the battle. According to E. Ćemalović, he was killed in 1944 near Gacko, “in the village of Doli near Sitnica, in a fight against the Chetniks.”
