“On that day, the 14th Brigade, after relieving the 13th Brigade in its section of the front, remained in position to secure the passage of other units. However, it happened that the enemy simultaneously began to withdraw. The brigade took advantage of this by exerting pressure with its weaker units to liberate Ostrožac. In the battles fought by divisions from April 18 to 22, mainly in the Bihać field, 9 fighters and officers were killed, and around twenty were wounded. The following individuals were killed: Husein (Huso) Hamzić from Pješivac near Stolac, Esad Mehić from Mostar, and Milorad Mičić from Mostar, all three from the 13th Brigade; Lazar (Lazo) Lozo from Kuti Livač near Mostar, Alija Marić from Dobrč near Mostar, and Mehmed Omanović from Kuti Livač near Mostar, all three from the 14th Brigade (…).”
