Milena V. IVELJA
MILENA IVELJA, daughter of VASA, born on November 11, 1929*, in Bjelušine in Mostar. Homemaker. Joined the People’s Liberation Army and Partisan Detachments in the autumn of 1944 at the age of 15, in the 10th Hercegovina Brigade. She served as a nurse and was killed by a grenade near the village of Trnovo in March 1945.
*According to the information in the book “Spomenica Mostara 1941-1945,” Milena was born in 1929.
