Eman M. VUČIJAKOVIĆ
EMANULAH EMAN VUČIJAKOVIĆ, son of MUHAMED, born on June 5, 1922, in Mostar, a mechanic by profession. He became a member of the League of Communist Youth (SKOJ) in 1941 and joined the Battalion in January 1944. Due to illness, he was sent back to Mostar. He was arrested with his father by the Ustasha on February 12, 1945, in Mostar, two days before the liberation of Mostar. He was taken to Sarajevo* and executed on March 28, 1945.
The father, Muhamed Vučijaković, also perished in Sarajevo as a result of Maks Luburić’s retaliation in the final days of the war.
According to one version of events, Eman (Muhamed) Vučijaković from Mostar, born in 1922, was among the group of captives deported from Sarajevo to Jasenovac and subsequently executed there. Eman is listed among the victims of Jasenovac.
