Asija S. SARAJLIJA
ASIJA OMERAGIĆ-SARAJLIJA, daughter of SALIH (SALKO), born in Čičevo near Trebinje in 1911, was arrested because her husband joined the Partisans. She was killed by the Ustaše in the Jasenovac concentration camp in 1944. According to a Ustaše document, she was described as “the daughter of Salko and Emina nee Lalagić, married to Mehmed, mother of three children, a housewife, sent to the camp for one year based on the proposal of the Ž.R.O. in Sarajevo; her husband Mehmed, a former domobran guard, went into hiding.”
