Alija M. ŠARIĆ
ALIJA ŠARIĆ, son of MUHAMED, born on March 5, 1921, in Mostar, sheet metal worker. Member of the League of Communist Youth (SKOJ). Joined the NOV and POJ in the summer of 1944 in the 4th Battalion of the 13th Herzegovinian Brigade. Fighter, according to one source, killed in the battles for the liberation of Čapljina on February 3, 1945, and according to another source, killed near Mostar sometimes in February 1945.
