Ahmet S. DEMIROVIĆ
AHMET DEMIROVIĆ, son of SULE, born on March 4, 1927, in Hodbina near Mostar. Farmer. Joined the National Liberation Army and Partisan Detachments in 1944, in the 1st (Mostar) Battalion of the 13th Herzegovina Brigade. Fighter, killed on April 6, 1945, on Igman during the thirty-day participation of the Division in the Sarajevo Liberation Operation (March 5 to April 8, 1945).
EXCERPT FROM LITERATURE:
“On the combat path from Ivan Sedlo to Blažuj and Igman, during four days of war, the following fighters from the 13th Brigade were killed: Deputy Commander of the 1st Platoon of the 3rd Battalion Spaso Ivanišević, Obren Glogovac, Ahmed Demirović, Mirko Domandžić, Todor Dojić, Branko Drljan, Delmo Sadik, Halil Džonko, Safet Kurt, Zajko Kevrić, Hivzo Kolečić, Ibrahim Mulić, Milan Novokmet, Anton Primorac, Ahmed Selimić, Milan Abramović, Veljko Butulija, Pero Bubalo, Tahir Obradović, Murat Tufo, Gavro Hajduk, Džemo Ramadan, Osman Šuta, Mujo Šubara, and Mustafa Šemić.”
