Ahmet A. ŠEVA
AHMET ŠEVA, son of ALIJA, born in Mostar on July 16, 1919. Barber, workers’ movement activist. Football player for FC “Velež”. After the September demonstrations in 1940 in Mostar, he fled to Sarajevo. In the summer of 1941, he joined the Romanijski Partisan Detachment. A fighter, he was killed in Romanija in the fall of 1941. Ahmet’s brother Omer and sister Fatima also died in the People’s Liberation War (NOB). A street in Mostar is named after the Ševa brothers.
