Mijo K. VUČIĆ
(1898. Vid – 1945. Sv. Katarina)
MIJO VUČIĆ, son of KAŽIMIR JOSIP, born on October 2, 1898, in Vido near Metković. He worked as a machinist and was employed in the coal mine in Mostar. He joined the National Liberation Army and Partisan Detachments on February 14, 1945, serving in the 1st Battalion of the 6th Dalmatian Brigade. He was a fighter and was killed in May 1945 near Sveta Katarina in Istria.
