SAMIJA PECO, daughter of HASAN, born in 1928 in Mostar. Student. Member of the League of Communist Youth (SKOJ). Killed in a bombing raid by Allied aircraft on January 14, 1944, in Mostar.
It is estimated that 86 citizens of Mostar were killed during the operations of Allied aviation targeting military objectives. Most of the casualties occurred in 1944, most likely on January 14.
