Ibro M. NEZIROVIĆ
IBRAHIM IBRO NEIZIROVIĆ, son of MUJO, born on September 20, 1926, in Humilišani near Mostar. Farmer. Joined the People’s Liberation Army and Partisan Detachments on February 16, 1945, in the 3rd Battalion of the 14th Herzegovina Brigade. Fighter, killed on May 11, 1945, after Germany’s surrender, in the battles for the liberation of Slovenia near Tržič.
According to one note:
“On the Division’s sector (…) on May 11, organized resistance of the enemy ceased. Over the next two to three days, the focus was on capturing individuals or small groups, some of which put up resistance. On the last day of organized enemy resistance (May 11), during the battles for the liberation of Tržič and Radovljica, five fighters from the 29th Division were killed, and around twenty were wounded. The deceased were: Božo Čavar from Lištica, Drago Kljakić from Udrežnja near Nevesinje, Ibrahim Nezirović from Humilišani near Mostar, Alija Mehić from Podgorani near Mostar, and Mihajlo Vilić from Fatnica near Bileća.”
