Mirko J. KOVAČEVIĆ
MIRKO KOVAČEVIĆ, son of JEFTO, born on July 27, 1928, in Mostar. Student at the Civilian School. Member of the League of Communist Youth (SKOJ) since 1942. Joined the the National Liberation Army and Partisan Detachments in the summer of 1944, in the 2nd Battalion of the 14th Herzegovina Brigade. Fighter, killed in combat against German units in Bišina near Bukorići (Nevesinje) on October 31, 1944.
