Jusuf A. HADŽIOMEROVIĆ
JUSUF HADŽIOMEROVIĆ GAPO, son of AVDO, born on April 13, 1912, in Mostar. Locomotive driver, pre-war activist of the workers’ movement, football player for “Velež,” member of the Communist Party of Yugoslavia (KPJ) since 1942. Joined the Battalion in January 1943, fighter, died from typhus in Sutjeska in June 1943.
The name of Jusuf Hadžiomerović is inscribed on the memorial plaque for fallen railway workers in Mostar, erected in 1952 and renovated by the ŽTP (Railway) Administration in 2016.
