Nusret M. HADŽIĆ
ARIF NUSRET HADŽIĆ ĆIRO, son of MEHMED, born on November 16, 1915.* He was part of the Mostar Battalion since 1941, but after the Chetnik coup, it was decided that he would return to Mostar for underground work with a group of other fighters. He soon went to Sarajevo where he was arrested by the Ustasha in April 1945. According to the book “Bosniaks in the Jasenovac Camp,” he was killed in the concentration camp Jasenovac in 1945.**
*As per the book “Spomenica Mostara 1941-1945.” ** On the new inscription, the place of death should be corrected to Jasenovac.
