Zijo S. ELEZOVIĆ
ZIJO (SALIHA) ELEZOVIĆ, born on November 22, 1914*, in Mostar. He was a railway official and an activist of the National Liberation Movement (NOP). He was married to Ema Pintul Elezović, who was the sister of National Hero Ahmet Pintul. Arrested by Ustashas in February 1945 in Konjic, taken to Sarajevo and killed. No remains were ever found. Zijo was the brother-in-law of the National hero Mehmed Trbonja, the brother of Razija Raska Trbonja, whose other two sisters and one brother actively participated and helped in the National Liberation War.
