The local committee of the Mostar SKOJ decided to capture this image as evidence. Although the author Mensur Seferovi\u0107 claimed that the task was entrusted to the young photographer Salko Milavi\u0107, he could not have done it as he was actually in one of the Italian camps at the time. According to the \u0160esti\u0107 family, the picture was taken by his brother Car Milavi\u0107 and Rifat Pavlovi\u0107. The hospital attendant in the photo is \u0106amil Deli\u0107, who, like Salko, also lost his life during the war.
