BRANKO VUKOVI\u0106, son of LUKA, born on December 7, 1912, in Vihovi\u0107i near Mostar. Miner, activist of the workers’ movement. After the capitulation of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia, he fled to Serbia. He joined the People’s Liberation War in late July 1941 in the Tamnava partisan detachment. After the disbandment of the detachment in February 1942, he sought refuge as a wounded soldier in the village of Zvizdar near Ub.
