Joined the National Liberation Army and Partisan Detachments in March 1944, serving in the 10th Hercegovina Brigade. Fighter. Killed on July 18, 1944, in Trusina near Nevesinje.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“After intense day and night battles on Snije\u017enica and Trusina, the 4th Battalion, exhausted and decimated, found itself in a confined area north of Stra\u017eevica and R\u017eanik. About a hundred meters ahead, east of the Berkovi\u0107i-Nevesinje road, was the enemy position. Two machine guns from the Support Platoon of the 4th Battalion were firing bursts at the ridge and forward positions, where half an hour earlier, political delegate and student from Sarajevo Stevo Dursun was killed, and several fighters were wounded. At that time, fighters Milorad Skiba and Dervi\u0161 \u0106esir from the 1st Battalion were also killed.”<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n According to the archives of Radmilo Braca Andri\u0107, the remains of Milorad Skiba were transferred and buried in the Partisan Memorial Cemetery in Mostar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Milorad’s name was recorded on a memorial plaque<\/a> at Mostar Gymnasium after the war.
