The Usta\u0161e authorities arrested him again on March 15, 1942, and after being held in Travnika and Sarajevo prisons, he was sent to Jasenovac. According to the documentation, he was “sentenced to a 2-year term in the camp on the proposal of the People’s Revolutionary Committee in Sarajevo; as a devoted communist, he worked on communist propaganda.”<\/em> Even in prison, he attempted to organize the party organization and became one of its leaders. He was assigned to work in the power plant at the camp. He managed to restore a radio set that had been secretly brought into the camp.
