DU\u0160AN DULE MU\u010cIBABI\u0106, son of JOVO, born on October 11, 1907, in Mostar. A professor at Mostar Gymnasium, a pre-war communist, and one of the most influential Marxist intellectuals. He became a member of the Communist Party of Yugoslavia (KPJ) in 1940. Through his work in schools, societies, and associations, he exerted a strong influence on intellectuals and youth. He conducted classes for progressive youth at the People’s Library. He was captured and killed in the early mass Ustasha crimes in Mostar in June 1941, known as the “Vidovdan massacres.” He was among the group of local Serbs and well-known traders from Mostar who were taken towards \u010citluk and \u0160iroki Brijeg and thrown into a pit in several villages of \u010citluk, located about ten kilometers away from Mostar. These details are based on the testimonies of eyewitnesses, including Steve Mili\u0107evi\u0107 (the only survivor, saved due to the intervention of his German wife, who was released at the moment he was brought to the pit). Historian Savo Skoko recorded the names of the victims:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The plaque disappeared without a trace during the war events of 1992-1995.
