Joined the People’s Liberation Army and Partisan Detachments of Yugoslavia in April 1944 in the Savo Belovi\u0107 Detachment. Killed as a fighter of the 3rd Battalion of the 13th Herzegovinian Brigade on March 1, 1945, in Ostro\u017eac near Konjic*.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
EXCERPT FROM LITERATURE:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“The resistance in the city center, around the railway station, was broken at 7 p.m. after the fighters of the 13th Brigade crossed the river on a ferry to the right bank of the Neretva, thus directly threatening the barricaded soldiers and Ustasha. As a result, the main part of the enemy garrison broke through to Konjic. Out of 300 killed soldiers and 34 captured, the 13th Brigade killed 170 and captured 10, seizing 3 mortars, 8 machine guns, and 70 rifles. Besides twenty wounded, the Brigade had twelve casualties (the 10th Brigade had 4 killed and 8 wounded), among whom, alongside Husein Sefa and Vlado \u0160uki\u0107, were fighters of the 3rd Battalion: Milan Borovac, Krsto Jokanovi\u0107, Radovan Ke\u0161elj, Mirza Kudra, Zaharija Vukalovi\u0107, Be\u0107ir Tikve\u0161a, Mujo Fazli\u0107, and Ratko Stevi\u0107.
