SAMIJA FEJI\u0106-KRAJINA, born in 1909 in Mostar, the daughter of MUHAMED Feji\u0107 and ADILA n\u00e9e Opija\u010d, a mother of two children, a homemaker. Arrested after her husband Mehmed Fadil joined the partisans, she was taken to the Jasenovac camp (“sent for a period of 1 year based on the proposal of the \u017dRO in Sarajevo”<\/em>) and killed in 1944.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Four of Samija’s brothers died in the National Liberation War (D\u017eemal<\/a>, E\u0161ref<\/a>, \u0160efko<\/a>, and Esad Feji\u0107<\/a>), and two uncles were killed by the Germans (one of them being dr Asim Opija\u010d<\/a>). One of the most famous streets in Mostar is named after the Feji\u0107 brothers. The well-known song “Mostarska mati” by Mostarske ki\u0161e is dedicated to Samija’s mother, Adila Feji\u0107. Samija left behind two daughters, Ita and Vesna. Vesna became an actress and was married to actor Ljubo Tadi\u0107.
