MILADIN MILE \u0106E\u0106EZ, son of MARKO, born on May 26, 1919, in Bijelo Polje near Mostar. Law student, player of FC “Vele\u017e”. Member of Communist Party of Yugoslavia (KPJ) since 1940. Arrested in early September 1940 due to the protest general strike in Mostar, in which over 2,000 workers, all companies and craft workshops, as well as the Coal Mine, participated. The strike was provoked by the ban on activities of “Vele\u017e” as a center of progressive ideas. Taken to the prison of Lepoglava. Handed over to the Usta\u0161e in April 1941 and taken to the Gospi\u0107 concentration camp, where he was killed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
